MLK Jr. Peacemaker Award Nominations
Nominations are now being accepted for Church of the Crossroads’ Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Peacemaker Award.
This award is given annually to honor and recognize a deserving person or organization from Hawaiʻi’s community. The person should be a Hawaiʻi resident whose life and work exemplifies a lifelong concern and commitment to the ideals of peace, social justice, and equality for all, ideals for which Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. gave his life.
Please send your nomination and supporting documents attention to the MLK Jr. Celebration Committee by December 15.

World Aids Day
Join us for this annual event in commemoration of World Aids Day, hosted by the Hawaiʻi Health & Harm Reduction Center (H3RC) in partnership with Church of the Crossroads.

The 2025 Watada Lecture: Dr. Satsuki Ina
The program will feature Dr. Satsuki Ina, co-founder of Tsuru for Solidarity, a grassroots movement that draws on the memory of incarceration to stand against immigrant detention and racial injustice.

Join us for a celebration of life for Shanti Mizuno. Service will be hybrid; sanctuary or via zoom. Visitation at 10:00am; Service at 10:30am, followed by food and fellowship in Weaver Hall.
Four-Petals Peace Service & Affirmations
Join us for this quarterly multi-faith service for peace, of mindfulness and an expression that particularly resonates among our four faiths.

We will be sharing in this important celebration of MacArthur’s ministry. Service will be hybrid; sanctuary or via zoom.

Easter Sunday Celebration
Our Easter Sunday celebration starts with a delicious breakfast served from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m., followed by a fun Easter egg hunt for the keiki and Easter Sunday (hybrid) worship at 10:30.

Good Friday Service
We will sing songs from the Taizé tradition and share scriptures and prayers. An opportunity to light votive candles and venerate the cross will also be given for those who wish.
Maundy Thursday Service
All are welcome to this special service in our sanctuary (in-person only).
We will begin with an opportunity for foot washing at 6PM, followed by a candlelight service of Tenebra (the Shadows) at 7PM as we read together the events of Jesus’ last night.
PALM SUNDAY WORSHIP
Come and join us for a fabulous Palm Sunday celebration — sanctuary or via Zoom. Feel free to bring a ‘palm branch’ or wear your favorite hat, feather boa, or tutu!
Adult Education: Medicare Fraud Prevention
Join us at 9:00 a.m. in the Ross Davis room to hear Susan Labow, volunteer with SMP Hawaiʻi, will be sharing important information on Medicare fraud prevention and abuse.
Everyone is welcome to attend -- this session is not just for retirees, but for anyone with aging parents, grandparents, or friends.
Ash Wednesday Labyrinth & Worship Service
All are welcome to join our traditional modified labyrinth walk in our sanctuary, or to light a candle of remembrance or intention. Kahu David will be there to impose ashes upon your forehead if you so desire.
Taizé style worship service of beautiful chants, readings and reflection will start at 6PM.
