There's a real difference

In a constantly changing world, it's easy to get lost. As you journey through life, it's good to know the direction you're heading.

At Church of the Crossroads you'll find people who are a part of the same journey. Here people gather to support each other and know the need for safe harbors. Here people challenge each other and know how to work toward common goals.

Living the life of love, service, and freedom that Jesus manifested isn't always easy, but it can be infectious. You're invited to join us as we journey together as God's people through all of life's challenges, opportunities, and changes.

At the start of its eighth decade, Church of the Crossroads continues to be a consciously inclusive church. We are open to all people regardless of gender, sexual orientation, or ethnic background. We have declared these principles in our Just Peace and Open and Affirming Covenants. Concerned about issues of justice and peace, our church has continually been in the forefront of social issues--in early years assisting in the formation of labor unions, declaring itself a sanctuary during the Vietnam War. More recently the church has become actively involved in environmental issues, both locally and internationally, and has incorporated stewardship of the earth as a tenet in its just peace covenant. We also initiated the establishment of a transition home open to women and children who are the victims of domestic violence.
